Iskandar Puteri (Nusajaya) is a new city in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It is the country's first self-contained city, with a population of 500,000.

The development of Iskandar Puteri (Nusajaya) has been driven by the government’s desire to boost industrial growth in the country and provide more job opportunities for its people.

The project was initiated in 2006 when Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi unveiled his vision for the region at Iskandar Investment Forum 2006.
